The fine arts have been an important facet of Weatherford College since the 1800s. Now, in our sesquicentennial year, we want to give our fine arts students the finest instruments to reflect our commitment to excellence across the institution. Through private funding through the WC Foundation, we look forward to becoming one of the 200-plus All-Steinway institutions. 

There are 88 keys on a standard piano keyboard. The 88 Key Campaign allows donors to “purchase” one or more symbolic keys to help Weatherford College become an All-Steinway School. If the college’s supporters purchase all 88 keys, that will fund the most sought-after piano in WC’s All-Steinway Initiative, a Steinway & Sons seven-foot B grand with Spirio R player technology.

Giving our students the very best tools to be successful is important to us, and we expect the All-Steinway initiative to not only benefit Dr. Hyeyoung Song’s piano program but jazz band, choir, private vocal studies and musical theatre as well.

Would you please consider being a part of this effort? Some donors have decided to spread their gift over as many as three years, so we’ve included a pledge form as well. Of course, gifts of all sizes are always appreciated.
