We are the only public arts magnet school in Mecklenburg County serving students in grades 6-12. In Fall 2018, our school received a state-of-the-art auditorium, resulting in one of the finest concert venues in the area. Students now have the pleasure of performing in a space that is fit for any professional performing organization. The construction expenses did not include the funds needed to replace the 1941 Baldwin grand on our stage. Our outstanding students deserve a quality instrument to showcase their talents. A Steinway will benefit all students and cultural organizations that use our auditorium, including the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
